Getting started

Studying HSC Advanced and Extension English? Use this guide to research your prescribed texts and to find related texts.

We've added icons next to each resource so you know where you can use them. You will need to sign up for a Library card to use many of the resources.

HSC at the Library

Find the Library's HSC Info area on Lower Ground 2 in the Governor Marie Bashir Reading Room. This is where you'll find HSC resources such as study guides. We also have resources in other areas of the Library including stack storage. Search the Library's catalogue to request material from stack storage.

Study rooms

We have five study rooms that you can book for individual or group study. Find the study rooms in the Governor Marie Bashir Reading Room.

Monday to Thursday 9 am to 8 pm
Friday 9 am to 5 pm
Weekends 10 am to 5 pm

The Special Collections area is closed on Sundays.
