A guide to finding and using the Pictures collection at the State Library of New South Wales.

The Library collects architectural plans and drawings to document the built environment, capturing the range of building styles and methods shaping the heritage and culture of people in New South Wales. Learn more about what the Library collects.

The Library's collection consists of conceptual drawings, plans, presentation drawings and associated specifications and records including architectural drawings and related materials from architectural firms such as:

The collection also includes material from individual architects such as early Sydney architect Edmund Thomas Blacket, and twentieth century practitioners Arthur Baldwinson, Hugh Buhrich, Sydney Ancher, Jorn Utzon and Glenn Murcutt.
